Professor Jessica L. Cohen of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health drew on her fieldwork spanning the United States and East Africa to examine how rigorous impact evaluation can reveal the most effective health economics policies, and how those findings inform governments, health systems, and international organizations. Attendees saw how complex economic thought moves beyond theory to produce consequential findings.
