
Jacqueline Hu, Global President, is a junior at The Brearley School in New York City. She previously served as Vice President of JEC’s NYC chapter. She is particularly interested in economics and biology. In school, Jacqueline is the co-founder of “Ethi-nomics”, a club that explores the intersection of ethics and economics, a member of the a cappella group, and the co-facilitator of East and Southeast Asian Affinity. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, singing, and baking.

Ethan Baek, Global Vice President at JEC, is a junior at Lambert High School. He joined JEC to explore the intersection of sports and economics and to advocate for innovative ways to connect communities through these fields. Beyond JEC, Ethan serves as Vice President of Lambert’s Economics Club, where he has represented his school in competitions such as the National Economics Challenge and the World Economics Cup. He is also a member of his school’s varsity basketball team and plays for a travel team during the spring and summer outside of the school season. In his free time, Ethan enjoys listening to music and spending time with friends.

Ethan Zhang, Global Director of Technology, is a junior at Stuyvesant High School in New York City. He is passionate about the intersection of technology and economics, particularly how technology and AI are affecting global markets and the opportunities within them. He is the founder and executive director of Volta NYC, an organization of 200+ students providing tech, strategy, and marketing support to small businesses across the city. At school, Ethan helps direct the Stuyvesant Bulls investment club, tutors for the Stuyvesant Study Society, competes with the NYC Math Team, and participates in mathematical modeling competitions. He is part of the Global Champion Team at the Wharton Global Investment Competition and is a USACO Gold Division qualifier. This summer, he will be studying Mandarin in Taiwan through the NSLI-Y program. In his free time, he enjoys classical piano, running, and rowing.

Thomas Landon, Global Director of Initiatives, is a junior at Manhasset High School. He previously served as Director of Community Initiatives for the NYC chapter, leading volunteers in the High Returns financial literacy program. He is passionate about using education as a tool for empowerment and believes that access to opportunity should not be limited by language or background. He began this work at El Centro, where he teaches English to immigrants. Inspired by this experience, Thomas founded Finance Translated, a multilingual platform designed to make financial education accessible to immigrant communities. Beyond JEC, Thomas is president of his school's Mock Trial Club, CEO of a Virtual Enterprise company, a Model UN delegate, and award-winning economic researcher. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, hanging out with friends, and listening to music.

Matias Levani is the Global Director of Finance at JEC and a student at Ridgewood High School with a passion for economics and ESG investing. Matias previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of JEC's NYC Chapter. At school, he is the leader of the Wharton Investment Competition Team and interns with his local Chamber of Commerce. Outside of academics, Matias loves running, playing tennis, and spending time with friends and family.

Sneha Ramineni, Global Director of the Junior Economist, is a senior at Lambert High School. She joined JEC to explore her interest in finance and economics. In school, she has served as vice president of organizations like FBLA. She hosts hackathons to bridge gaps in STEM education, and in her free time, she enjoys baking and going on long walks.

Arden Brown is a junior at the Latin School in Chicago, IL. She has been a part of the Junior Economic Club since her freshman year and served as the Chief Financial Officer of JEC Chicago this past year. Arden is passionate about combining her curiosity about finance and economics with her love for the humanities and problem-solving to create real-world change. Outside of JEC, Arden is the co-founder of Living Outside, a non-profit aimed at destigmatizing homelessness through direct aid. She also serves as the Executive Director of Innoverge and the co-head of her school's service learning board. When she's not working, you can find Arden in the kitchen trying a new recipe or exploring the great outdoors.
